I'm not sure if the 10 works like a CBR, but if so you can't just use resistors because the values change through the RPM range. For the CBR's the best way is to use an osciliscope (sp?) to get the input/output values through the rpm/tps range and then program a PIC chip to mimic these values. I found a guy on a Honda forum that had done all the testing and was building them for $30 shipped. Do some research on a Kaw forum under "ESRM" or "Exhaust Servo Removal Module" and you should find something. The modules from the big suppliers are bought from someone, then marked-up and resold. I think Ivan's sells them for $100+ and I'll bet they don't cost $15 to build. P.S. The one I bought works just fine. Hope this helps. B

I removed everything completely and de-pinned the connector at the computer. Then cover the exposed end in heat shrink. No light.

google taking the exhaust servo off and put the kind of bike you have in there you tube has some great video how tos and i did it that way i was getting the f1 error your talking about but when i changed the exhaust i took it all out the cables everything and you have to clip a wire on one of the harnesses its easy it took about an hour and the bike not only sounds great but the f1 errors go away. Also ive been told that i can enjoy a little more mid range power but i dont know how true that is

try reading the post before you reply

like i said, zx10s cant have wires clipped, jumped or have a resitor put in line. it throws an FI light

and like i said, i make the pack to plug and play to eliminate the servo
