Brock’s Performance named exclusive North American Distributor of BST wheels


DAYTON, Ohio — After great success distributing BST wheels in the past year, Brock’s Performance is proud to announce that it has secured exclusive North American distribution rights to all of BST’s carbon-fiber wheels–for Japanese and European sportbikes, as well as Harley-Davidson XR1200 & V-Rod motorcycles–and other BST products in the R&D pipeline.

Bolstered by the recent addition of BST’s European and Harley wheels, Brock’s Performance now carries 145 different BST wheels for 116 bike models from 13 manufacturers. All are available for immediate shipment to the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Terry Anneke, BST’s Marketing and Operations Director, says, “BST is delighted that Brocks Performance has become our exclusive North American distributor. We are very happy with the company’s proven abilities and expertise. They have a wide base of customers, are able to service all sales and technical inquiries, and carry an extensive range of wheels. All of this has created a center of excellence for BST. “Over and above the full range of BST wheels, Brock’s Performance has been instrumental in the testing cycle of BST’s new-generation–and even lighter–carbon-fiber wheels and will be carrying a host of new BST products, the first of which is the single-sided Ducati swingarm that made its debut at the Indy Dealer Show.

“This expansion of our alliance with BST will enable us to provide a full range of carbon-fiber products in a timely manner with the highest level of dealer and customer support,” says Brock’s Performance president Brock Davidson. “Because we can ship a set of wheels to 70 percent of the U.S. population within three days using UPS Ground service, our Dayton, Ohio location is prime for BST’s North American distribution needs. As an official BST service and repair center, Brock’s will continue expediting warranty issues, returns and exchanges, so selling and owning BST wheels will be a seamless affair.”

BST wheels are sold directly through Brock’s Performance and through thousands of Tucker Rocky dealers nationwide. Sourced from TR, they come upgraded from Brock’s Performance with Worldwide Bearings ceramic bearings, low-tension seals and aerospace lube.

Endowing sportbikes with lighter handling, BST wheels also enable faster acceleration and promote quicker braking by weighing up to 60 percent less than their OEM counterparts, reducing unsprung mass and gyroscopic effects in cornering. This equates to stronger street performance..........

I wonder if this is going to effect the price of the wheels any. I know these things are expensive to build, but i can't see paying as much for a set of wheels as some people pay for their whole bikes. I guess I'm just a tight-a$$! Congrats to Brock, tho. It seems his business is continuing to thrive even in the midst of this economy.
