Wow, I read on the blog where they were going to stop production, I hope that's not the case! I's really is a great mag with some interesting articles! I just renewed my subscription last month and look forward to them coming in the mail so I could send them over to my peeps who is serving over seas in the service.

I'm really sorry to hear this not because I'm a subscriber but because I love the sport of M/C dragracing, Rickey I wish you luck in the future.
I remember when you were riding Piere Elliots bike in the 80's, I always knew
you would set the drag racing world on it's ear. I think drag racing is
going through a generational adjustment, young people don't realize that it takes a team effort, if your bike is down for a few weeks go watch the race and take the family. If you go to the race take a friend or crew member. Alot of folks come through the gate with a truck trailer
and a bike and thats it! Let's put up a fight to M/C drag racing alive.
You don't have to have a fast bike to have a crew, you need someone to tell you what a good dial-in might be, or if your air shifer needs air.
It's gonna get worse before it gets better, so lets get busy.

I have a been a subscriber for years. It has great MIROCK pictures and articles. Other then that, it blows. It is like a phone book of custom bike builders. It used to have some tech articles, not any more.

I hate to hear that about 2WT. I've known Sarah and her crew since before the magazine ever started and I know how hard they've worked. They are now owned by a very large corporation, and large corporations don't have patience for dwindling returns. Their ad sales, like ours, have been falling for a long time now and it was only a matter of time before their parent company Advanstar would cut their losses.

Straightliner is a mom & pop organization without stockholders to please. We are definitely suffering from industry cutbacks, especially Kawasaki and Suzuki's cuts. That is the only mag, that my bike made the Mirock page.. man I hate to see it go.. and thanks tim, I was wondering if u could bring those dvds to the july mir race.. trilla in mon, no bar, and rockingham 2004..where could I view pictures u took of my bike at last june mir race?

is any one sure 2wt is out of business or is ricky just refering to the anouncment of ama shuting down?
I am a 2wt subscriber and havn't heard any thing. I only subscribe to twt because they are one of the only ones with some drag racing coverage. Even though it is only a couple pages of drag racing coverage I subscribe just for that reason.
I used to subscribe to sport rider because they had some good articles on some builds, but found it starting to lack details so I quit subscribing.
Don posted up on the nitrous article that was in sport rider and I thought it had some specifics on nitrous on the gen 2 busa so I bought that issue at wallmart just to read it. It was kind of neat to read it, but felt like it didn't contain any thing more then simple general information. I was more interested in the article on richard sims busa build in that issue.
Give me some info on the Straightliner magazine. If it has some decent drag race coverage I will subscribe. I have never seen a issue before.
