I think track being slick all day is alot to do with bike set up more then the track. pro mod went 4.03 1/8th mile had to be pretty sticky. I know some of the 9.50 bikes where pulling well into the 1.40's on 60ft.

Pro Mod have more tire on the ground, track started out super slick, I was havin problems wit my bike an it was still skating down the track wit a shinko hook up an john force burn out an it was still spinning, even nitros bikes with slicks were spinning. Track got alot better as the day went on, by far the best race of the day, Way to go Mr. Stickles
And your 9.50 bike ain't putting down the kind of horsepower prostreet bikes r.

Sorry really don't get what your saying? 60 ft has nothing to do with the end ET. I had a 1.58 60ft and ran 10.54. I just know when to shift to hit my times I'm after. my other buddie had a 1.52 60ft and ran 10.55. Oh and I did run a guy in the 9.50 class that went 1.44 60ft. still glad all you guys came over to race was a good time. we will be In Byron weather permitting

Track was marginal for the first two free time runs after that it was good. I've been racing for 23 yrs and you can't judge a track from watching anyone else making runs. I went to cedarfalls for an alcohol funny car race and the first 8 cars spun and shut off and I went right down the track and ran a 6.23@ 224 mph. because my set up was right. there's wasn't, but going off of them the track was junk. And I think I know I don't have the hp a pro street bike does. Stickels made the track look great. I watched stickels run in the 7.60's one pass and 3 or 4 other guys skate around. I don't think the track was any different for any of them stickles just had his bike set up right for the conditions.
