I have a Ballistic, but I know the Speedcell does have 1 thats a higher output than the Ballistic. I have the 12 cell 360 amp and it weighed here at work 2.25 lbs.

    Yes.....and No.

The 12 Cell Ballistic will start stuff that a stock battery won't (ie 1540cc Busa), but at the same time, it won't start a full grudge 1720cc Busa with 15.1:1 compression...you will still need a 24 volt system. That being said, you can build a 24 Volt system with a Ballistic battery that will be smaller, lighter, and more efficient.

It all depends on the application.

We have been running the Ballistic battery from KWS with great results. Not only was the battery 5lbs lighter, i am seeing 1volt more when the bike is down track under full load! One of the best investments you can make for your bike.

I'm really pleased with the Ballistic I bought from KWS, it spins my 1287 ZX12R with 13.5 pistons better than my Yuasa did and I lost 6 pounds.

Can't go wrong with KWS & Ballistic.
