Joe Rocket pro street boots... legal?

I'm in the market for a new boot, and I'm looking at the Joe rocket prostreets. I wanted some Bates, but my current Alpinestar leathers won't fit over them, so I think I'll wait to get the Bates until I get a whole new suit.

Are the Joe Rocket prostreet boots NHRA legal? I know they have to go over the ankle, and the pictures make them look like it will be close.. I wear 10.5 to 11. I race at Bandimere speedway here in Denver, CO and the tech guys get pretty picky, I would hate to drive 80 miles to the track just to get booted for boots.

Not sure about the boots, but I've sold about 20 sets of their leathers but don't think I'll be selling any more due to the poor design. If you're going to build a strictly drag racing suit why would you make the most vulnerable area to a fall ELASTIC? I'm sure it helps save money, and makes it more universal but last time I checked I thought the sole purpose was SAFETY???

Mine cover the ankle. My track is not so smart with bike stuff so tech is no problem. I would hate to hit the pavement in anything but a full one piece road race leather suit, but I haven been down in far less a time or two.
