my last customer ordered middle of december and I had his bike to the first weekend in march. New build ground up!

never ridden a prostreet bike and made the field his first time at an event. Went to the uk at his first event and was number 2 qualifier.

The reason I asked is because a friend of mine took his bike to the bike shop last year an still don't have it back. Money was not an issue at all, at the ROA he probaly won't get it back till the end of the season. I guess next time he will have to deal wit SEB since he's close to him. I guess the guy shop is like one of the shops in Chicago who ever is spending the most money gets done first know matter what order the bikes come in.

The sad part is you will find ALOT of shops like this. You find someone you think you can trust and they take care of you and do you right for a while and the next thing you know your getting pushed to the back burner and your stuff never gets finished. I'm done with other people working on my stuff because of this bull sh*t.

I had to pay for things as I went, couldnt afford to do mine all at once. I also changed my mind on alot of things on the bike and re-did alot of things. I am actually changing a couple more things on the bike now too. With all of this and how much I work (MIR Event Director, MIROCK Promoter, NSCRA Northeast Division Director, Seminars Instructor, and WCF Promoter) it has made my build take a long time. Plus I am so picky on what I want I may spend more time than others on how I set up the bike.

If you take a PST bike to someone who has a set-up already dialed in and knows exactly what to build, order, and fabricate for a "duplicate" bike, and you have all the money in hand, there is no reason why a PST bike shouldnt be completed in less than 2-3 months, if you have arranged with them on a start build time.

I just dont have those luxuries, unfortunately.

All Damn you don't want to go there!! I gave a guy money for a old school build feb.18th and didn't get my bike back until september. That's right a old school not a prostreet build. Oh and there another guy here I here about that's good but at one point was hooked on drugs. He's back building and when you go to him you better bring your own lub, because he's about to bend yo azz over. My primary concern with a few guys in chicago, and the burbs is part switching. Taken parts off your bike and putting it on there's. Or telling you that you need something and you buy it and it goes on there bike instead of yours, and your stuck with there old parts. I want a receipt for all my parts incase I have to take it off and retrun it or warranty. Can't offord to pay for someone else build. Now of days you really have to search a guys history before you deal with them. Get to know there track record, what there about. Usually when your good Like Seb. Your work sells it self. I tried a out of towner that one guy spoke for and got screw in all direction. Never could ride or race the bike without problem. And his work effected others as well. He builds a damn good motor through, but electronics were screwed. I think your buddy should go get his bike. Maybe someone could have him ready mid season.
