    OK guys,
This is literally the FIRST 2 WHEELED bike that I ever rode. Its very special to me because it was my grandfathers little scooter. My grandmother wants to throw is away but I am SURE I can get this thing back up and running. Its a small motored push peddle bike. Last she told me was that my grandpa put too much oil in it and I am imagining it pushed a gasket out.

    Thanks!

First question is "WOT is the Compression?"

Second question is "Do I have Spark?"

Third question is "Does fuel flow out the carb?" Say, if compression is 150 psi or better, or the spark is fine, this thing will run.

But, to find out how bad the engine is, pull the exhaust pipe, run the crank around [if it turns at all] and watch the piston come up to exhaust port, see if that skirt is scored like he cooked the engine with just gas, not just oil like maybe the old lady has it reversed?

One reason the bike does not run? If that piston is clean and oil soaked, OK, maybe the old lady was right? Take a look before you spend a dime on the bike.
