Are these bmw bikes only good for dyno shootouts??

What is going on with these bmw's i heard that a few have been run and are getting 9.5 ets and lower 150's mph trap speeds. That mph sucks for whats supposed to be such a powerful bike the suzukis and kaws been running those trap speeds and faster for years. Are they hard to launch or gutless or something and there 330ft's are sucking a** because of it? I mean how is a bike supposedly making that kinda power not doing any better than that? I was really excited about this bmw after people were talking about the dyno numbers they were putting down so this is very disappointing

Tried to tell you'all ...... But I just got labeled a BMW Hater!
Dyno Numbers DONT MEAN CHIT.....its all about Real World/Track Numbers.
However, I do think this BMW will be Sumptin to be Reckoned with on a Road Coarse! Also looks like it would make one H3ll of a Street Machine.....thats if you could Stomach the Paint & looks! (JMHO)

I just read guy on other thread in the 1000 section said bike was all stock except seat removed and lowered and he could go lower still nothing else was gone to bike no pipe no tune no gearing nothin else at all and best pass was 9.37 best mph 154 best 60ft 1.61 so this bike looking to have some potential now.
Great news for the bmw guys im sure. And i like the new bmw too of course i will like it alot more if it sets some new standards for the 1000's lol hope it does

The BMW is competitive in World Superbike and SuperSport racing but the horsepower test will be later this year one some tracks with 1mile front straights.Here are some lap times.

I just think with all the Gizmo's that come on this Damn thing(ABS, HP Modes, Traction Control, Lean Angle Sensors, Etc....)it's Deff got the Advantage & Technology to Be a Killer on a Road Coarse!! ..............Just not too Sure about Drag Racing?? But H3ll what do I know....its Not like I been Wrong B4!

More Race teams are slowly getting away from Too much Tech on these bikes. they are finding that things like traction control are slowing track times. Cant do this with traction control

The Losail International Circuit is 1068 Meters. Fuji Speedway in Japan is the record holder for longest straight, with the front straight being just under a mile long
