    Default Power Mist Fuel

For those of you who use or are thinking about using Power Mist, we now stock the D832 (the most popular all around fuel). I have a little of the D850, but it's double the price and still in the process of being tested.

    Call if you need anything...

    Thanks,

This the fuel itself or there oxygenating additives? I didnt know they made a complete fuel. Could you pm me a price and some info on the d832 please. One question in your honest opinion what are the advantages and disadvantages compared to say vp mr9?

They have all types of fuels and additives. Check out the website.

    Welcome to PowerMist Racing Products

With D832, you can have same HP results with more octane and ability to spray it.

Yeah I have used a can of powermist before and had decent results. My buddy accidentally picked up the 120 octane one when I was trying to get the low octane one, but the bike still ran pretty good with the help of the additional oxygen. I would be interested to see what one of their lower octane fuels will do though.

...Dang it looks like just about all of them are high octane. Do they make a lower octane one that has a decent amount of oxygen still in it Rodney? I also wonder if the higher octane ones would be ok for use with nitrous despite their high oxygen content?

Most of the serious grudge racers use D832 now. These fuels require a totally different tune.

TO 72 and 78 have been used in lower compression appications, but I think the much higher oxy content in the D832 ends up being a bigger benefit.

I have not tested it in the PST bike, but I will soon. I do know it can be spayed with no problems.

Rodney, you say that most of the serious grudge racers are using it now. Are those all motor or nitrous grudgebikes that are using it? I am wondering what the advantage of using such a high octane in an all motor bike would be? I respect your opinion greatly and would love to know the theory behind it? Maybe adding alot of timing or what. Thanks alot.

I have always thought the lower you can go on octane without detonating the more HP you will see. The guys at Power Mist have a different theory and I have not proven them wrong yet. Every bike we put it in runs better. Q-16 is the VP fuel we mostly use in big motor bikes so the octane rating is only a few points different.

I can tell you that all I run in my real street bike(Zx14) is the d137 and d832, and my bike goes 8.50's on motor and I spray it with the same fuel and go 8.0's, and I'm spraying 120hp...no problem for 2 years now!!
Seen 5 hp over MRX01 same day same bike.

but the fuels with the higher octane numbers are the ones with most oxygen concentration, so you might be losing some power due to octane but you are making it up with the oxygen and more, i mean that 850 fuel got 18%

XC...I'm not partial. I am a dealer for VP and distributor for Power Mist. Both are good for certain applications, but just wanted to let poeple know about power mist and that it's been good for us.

Shift...that's what I was saying earlier, the negative of higher octane is offset by the much higher oxygen content. In the end you get a safer fuel with the same or most often a better result.

So I'm new to this will the Nitox additive added to pump gas on a 08 Busa with just bolt ons raise the hp and lower the et? and would it need to be retuned for the additive or is it pour in and go? thanks.

Thanks for the information gentlemen. Price point will probably be the biggest factor for me. I cant afford to run VP fuels. What does a can of it cost.
