I know this post is way late but thanks for posting the link Rickey and I appreciate all of you who read the article.

There is nothing worse than spending the time and money coming to a race and not being able to race because you did not know the rules.

Rules are there for your protection and nothing else.

Anyone know what the ground clearance is for street bikes
I looked at the rule book and I still don't get it... 2" or 3"

    From the rulebook:
    2.4.2.9 GROUND CLEARANCE

Minimum ground clearance for wheelie bar bikes is 2" measured with rider sitting on bike, straight up perpendicular to ground with 4 psi (car tire), 8 psi (motorcycle tire) in rear tire. Minimum 3" on street bikes or other non-wheelie bar bikes unless otherwise specified in individual class rules.

From the rulebook (under street fighter rules)
    4.3.6.4.2 GROUND CLEARANCE
Minimum ground clearance with rider on bike is 2”.

Looks to me that a street fighter bike will be 2" min... all other classes 3" unless specified

I have been sitting at tech when some people try to do these things when they get caught they give Joey and harvey a hard time this i don't understand, and to be frank it pisses me off. Read the rule book get your crap together before you race and you will have a smooth sailing weekend for everyone.

great article. I'm far from where I want to end up as far as racing goes, but I did make sure all safety issues are up to par for not only my safety, but stupidity (Alter ego) also.
