flat slicks are good once you get them dialed in, but once you do dont expect to get to many races. people compain to much. i just put a flat slick on my busa to try it. needles to say its not on my bike anymore.

You had better have some HP to turn that slick,if not your wasting time and money. The flat slick will hook alot more than the round. Just my experience.

I've been looking for an answer to this question also. Pro street bikes can't use flat slicks and they haul a$$. Seems like a flat slick would kill MPH in the 1/4.

If those guys(pro street) had 7 in slicks, they would have been in the 6s a long time ago. Achieving 6 seconds on a street tire is a major accomplishment IMHO.

Im 75in flat slick and we found that the suspension setup changed big time along with gear and clutch. You can still makethe bike run the same numbers but theirs alo that needs to be done. Regear, suspension, sag, degree the bike sits, alot of changes. If a street tire works for you dont switch. Aloy goes into play to get these long bikes to hook. If your setup is dialed n and track conditions are right a streetire is all u need
