Default Adams swingarm on GS1150 What mods required?

The GS resource is another good place for these type of inquiries.

1150's suspension is not of the dogbone variety like GSXR's and Busa's.There is some fab and welding required if you intend to have a fully functional rear suspension. The arm will physically fit in the frame but getting the shock and required linkage to work properly ya gotta do some work. Its not a bolt up affair. As for the wheel spacing you may have to use about a 1/2" offset sprocket to get everything to line up.Mcintosh used to charge about $400 to do the frame mods dont know about now.

I had forgot all about this post. Thanks for the info. I'm still in retro mode, and am looking for a mean pro street 1150, or possibly parts. Btw, I am still working in Indiana, (seasonal work).
