I checked the website and noticed that the picture for the '82 kz1000 Replica is actually a picture of an '83 ... not sure if it matters but there might be a few other discrepancies...

You could be right. I've found this site to give good basic info on model identification as far as serial numbers are concerned. I never paid much attention to the pictures.

I still have a set of old school wheelie bars for my '83 with struts in the attic, might even have an old set of lime green wheels as well...
