Re: dyna help and cam help
I'm about to put a Dyna 4000 on mine with the Dyna coils. I will likely set my high side limiter at 12,000 and set my shift points to 10,000 or maybe 10,500. I've got HD valve springs in the head. I need to get my book to research where the factory timing is set and then go from there. The Dyna 2000 has the built in advancer/retard function but the 4000 doesn't. I've got a seperate 2 stage retard box that plugs into the 4000 to take care of the retard when i spray.
I have 39FCR's on my bike but since i only race the bike full throttle i can't tell you much about bogging issue that i experience at that low an RPM. You might want to raise the needle one notch on the carbs to see if that helps.

Re: dyna help and cam help
On the cam degreeing issue, i'll be playing with some numbers myself this week. Might start off with 104/105 on the stock cams and see what happens.
