91 Zuk 750 how TO CONVERT TO A TRACK BIKE

    I saw a 1991 Gsxr 750 bored to 1000 for sale. I always wanted a track bike. I never tried track racing want to make it a hobby. Is this a pretty good bike to convert n2 a 1st track bike, just to get a feel for the track. If so where do i start as far as the mods.

    First off I don't think a 750 can be bored out to a 1000 and what you want to do is get you a good gear and are you going to run the 1/4 or the 1/8th ? If you get a chance PM me and I will try to get you a good starting point and go from there.

    ask him if he still has any receipts from the original build. it probably is a 955, close enough. but just don't buy into bull****. alot of people claim 907-955 trying to sell a bike that's BONE STOCK with a pipe and jet. look at the motor for an indication that it's been torn apart. you wont always find something, but it doesnt hurt to look. hope you have fun with it, man.

    You could always put an 1100 motor on that chassis. In fact if you check the for sale part of this site, i believe there are a few built GSXR1100 oil cool motors for sale.

    you can put 1100 jugs on a 750 bottom with the right pistons and rods, the head is the same except valve size and cams
