95 gsxr 1100 issues

ok i picked up a 95 1100. now the issue is i cleaned out the bowls and blew out all the little jets and other holes and it idles perfect. now if i ease into the throttle it revs up ok but if i chop the throttle it sputers and bogs.any ideas this is makeing me nuts oh and i also cleaned out the ped**** and made sure fuel flow correctly.with the choke on it does make a minor difference

Do you have stock carbs or aftermarket?Does it have a full system on it or slip on?

stock carbs and a 4 into yosh pipe. the bike has been sitting for 2 years

one question this bike does not have the air box on it can that maybe be the cause ??

yep...it needs the airbox to help lift the slides on the carb...you can tune it to run without the airbox but it can be a pain staking process..I would recommend you try to find some pod filters to put on the carbs to see if it helps..

Yep, air box issue for sure. No matter how much jetting you do, if that air flow is not restricted somehow you will never tune it right.
