I am sure you are, I built a 1428 kz motor a couple years ago. I know what it cost! And I dont even run a turbo.

Ok I don't want to sound like an idiot but why doesn't it make more power at 16 lbs of boost? I dont know alot about the older motors but I know with my motor is makes over 300 with 16 lbs of boost and its only 998cc?

What size is the turbo? How reliable would this motor be with more power?

This is a much older design, like prostock tons of work needs to go in to be as efficent as a new gen motor, But make no bones Turbo is capable of 30 psi at well over 375 hp, on a draw thru carb system, plus motor is only 8.5 compression, with means it makes about 90 hp, all is relative but you get the point

Oh I understand. I figured that big of a motor made alot more power without boost. Just the older design is not as efficient. What does it run? Looks like a fun bike to ride. Is is pretty reliable?

The way that it is set up now from Paul Gast it should go high 7s and could go faster and be very reliable, again all new stuff, it is strickly a track bike and A forum guy here Tom saw it at island dragway, and he was impressed, just i am out of Money and has to go
