Just curious, but what is the difference between an Outlaw and a Nitous Prostreet, now that the rules have changed a bit. Is it just a DOT tire?

You got it. That's why I said it can be done.

Yea but we can be 70' with ballast on it and with the way my chassis has been working without it, I dont there will be a problem. Teasley has been 7.80's with his R/ST bike at 62"s. Busas make more power than 14s. With the electronics these days and more inches and a good working chassis, I really don't see a problem. Didn't FBR or was it someone else go 6.90's with a busa motor. Just gotta have the right set up.

so your saying a prostreet bike has been in the 0's in testing already. Word travels fast in the prostreet world and your the only one who knows about it.

Re: FIRST TO HVE A 6 SECOND PASS N PROSTREET
Outlaws = 75" with a slick, 590 lbs min weight
Nitrous Pro Street = 70" with a DOT tire, no min weight
The only other real difference is Outlaws could run other any style bodywork (GS frame with GSXR1k bodywork), and they didnt have to run lights. But neither of those would slow them down.

Re: FIRST TO HVE A 6 SECOND PASS N PROSTREET
I'll be watching for any prostreet bike to go 6's...I personally think a turbo bike such as Seb's has a better chance at it..It will be cool to see a nitrous bike do it as well but I don't think the nitrous guys are using all the technology that the turbo bikes are using...I will say this though, if you are heavier than 110 lbs before you put your leathers on, you are too heavy to be on a nitrous bike!!

Re: FIRST TO HVE A 6 SECOND PASS N PROSTREET
Dumb question but why has nobody put a car tire on a PST bike yet. The rules say dot tire. Thats it. Doesnt say what kind of dot tire. Mickey thompson makes a 8.5 inch tire for a 17 inch rim that is DOT approved. It would probably have to be bead locked so it wouldn't spin on the rim but seams like once you would decrease the chances of spinning you would only have to worry about wheelie control. Just looking for input on why not

i don't know how that is even remotely relevant to this discussion. 7.90's is light years away from 6.90's.

The comment was made 110 pounds on a nitrous bike. It didn't say P/ST. And it is impressive for a big man like that to go in the 7's on a R/ST bike.
