He should it is extra points. But which one do you claim the 7.12 or the 4.700 flat? I am assuming his 1/8th was good enough on the 16 I did not see it

Yes, but I think you only get to claim 2 records. So he has to decide if he has more in it later in the season. If you claim all your stuff early, you couldnt claim it later when you want to, when you go even faster. I think thats the way it is done, but could be wrong.
