i would say yeah. if one goes 6's it will only be a matter of time before everyone step's it up. hell look at how fast the class is already. its amazing to see how fast people can go when your competing for somthing. even if its bragging rights.

When someone goes 6.99 two things will happen...
1, The "Quitters" will quit and stay home with their tale between their legs...
2, The "Real Racers" will get excited and be driven more to test more, step up, and be more motivated to hurdle that barrier next.
So... Overall it will seperate the men from the boys, but you cant stop progress. Our nation was built on progress.
When Streetbike Shootout broke in the 7s with Brock 10 years ago, everyone was pumped up, whats the difference now?

When KT went 7.99 in Real Street the quitters at the back of the pack layed off the class, and the other racers stepped up and now has 4 members of the 7-second club: KT, Teasley, Lil Curtis, and Grayson

If you're skeered, say so. I ain't skeered. Seeing that 7.11 got me motivated on the PST. I might even have it at Rockingham...

In my case. My bike was running 8.3's and I just wasn't going to get a win running them numbers and when I tryed harder my bike blow up. So then I was down for alittle bit. I saved some money and I'm back and trying for that 7 sec pass. I think thats what alot of people are doing. Next year all the RST bike will be back.![]()
RDRIVR sorry to talk about RST on your post.
not everybodys wealthy like most people.
I dont think it is good for the class at all. when u have half the field .5 behind the front runners the ones who travel do it less. I could be wrong though.

As we all know all things are subject to change, but when you tell the low buget racers this class is for them an then change it right in the middle a racer that is on a buget gets the short end of the stick. Not really fare but nothing in life is fare. the guys that r running in the 7's should be runnig sst that's where real street is headed anyway.
