Well instead of running the 28-30 psi boost your running now, you could put a 40 shot on top of 24-25 psi and be making more power and about the same as an intercooled without your constant motor destruction (aprox 8-10 Hp per psi, 25psi approx 475 hp + 80 approx from 40 shot = 555 approx).

I didn't say I got fuel from you. I was saying what all we got at the track.

wayne got his tires from spencer at first then tried a dragteck he got from you. When he found you didn't pay contingency on the tire he went with mt from the pr factory.

I'm talking 08 not this season. I dont remember contingency being paid for st et and st fighter in 08 for your clutches.

Frank I dont care what they do with the rules. If they allow nitrous Ill run it and go even faster. So will Mike Slowe, Bud Yoder, Taylor Woods etc. The fact is nothing will change because the fast guys will stay faster period. End of Story.

I can offer my opinion and have them just like anyone else. I dont need to validate my opinion as it wont matter. Ill race with whatever rules they give us.

Its not me you have to convince its AMA.
Well it's just as I thought. You are not understanding what they are asking for by opening the rules up. It's not about who will run faster and who wont. It's about allowing multiple applications. Additional flavors if you will.

As in....Let a team build their bikes based on methanol and try to compete. Or a Nitrous/Turbo combo. Or Alcohol.

A move such as this with the opening of the rules can do many things to benefit the industry itself. Most importantly it would give additional option to any competitor's that has an interest in joining the class. It would bring in additional list of businesses to get involved with their customers which in turn is when you have the potential for more sponsorship for the class, contingency, and/or event sponsorship.

More players in the game means there would be more wants and needs....and as a result everything with in the pro street becomes more healthy. Say if Scott V. was struggling with class sponsorship and what not. The opening of the rules attracting new players increases his possibilities for additional involvement. Example; Dave Schnitz may say..."Hey, with nitrous becoming more of a demand in this class, I may just have to allow my company to be more involved now". Or, the same could be said for others who may be on the outside looking in.

My opinion is, if the rules are opened up to allow any kind of power combinations,....nobody will be out of anything. Nobody will lose out, I believe there would be nothing but positive possibilities to come from it.

The only benefits I think you would get Steve is if you open up a nitrous bottle while it's pointed towards your nose.

Like I said, if they are changing things and opening them up, then go ahead and allow alcohol as well. Why should it just be limited to gas only combos? And maybe the turbos shouldnt be restricted to 62.5mm either?

Alcohol is way cheaper than race gas, sure you use twice as much alky, but alky is more than twice as cheap.
