Default NLR SIM (Smart Ignition Module)

The NLR Smart Ignition Module is a inductive smart ignitor designed to outperform current ignitors on the market today. Since the only way to improve output from an ignitor is to focus on switching efficiency. Our circuit design is very unique as well as the ( amp output ) from our unit. This output is a 0-5 volt output that is used to see exactly how many amps are at the coil. A unique circuit reads the amperage and outputs it from the SIM to a datalogger, voltmeter, ecu etc so you can optimize any coil you are using for maximum output.

If the output is 2 volts then your at 4 amps.

Basically double the voltage output gives you the amps at the coil. This is useful when setting dwell no matter what coil is used.

First things noticed when installed on my 2008 prostreet bike was very quick to light when cranking. Not only that but the bike will idle like a kitten at 900-1000 rpm as well which is would never do before. Throttle response is awesome with any of the bikes I tune but with the SIM it is really crisp ! I will be using the unit at the World Finals this weekend...what better place to test your product.

Stop by and check it out !

Billet Aluminum enclosure with heat sink fins.
    Tefzel high current capacity conductors
High Voltage , High Current drivers
Current limited to 7 amps, cut the magic wire and you have a 9 amp current limit
    Uses factory coils
Here is a scope reading for a 2008 hayabusa. Factory stick coils being driven by the factory ecu. 13.8 volts 200 volt max output.(blue line is coil)

Here is a scope reading with the bosch ignitor with factory stick coils 13.8 volts 340 volt max output at 2ms dwell

here is a scope reading with the NLR ignitor with factory stick coils 13.8 volts 580 volt output at 2ms dwell

It will more than double the output of the factory coils at the same dwell! This is not a cdi but a inductive type ignition.

The first one is a test at a simulated 3000 rpm

This one is at a simulated 12000 rpm.

What better way to test my ignition than at the world finals in valdosta! Flawless and with only 1.8ms dwell .

Installed on my bike and on Keith and both bikes ran perfect!!
I left early due to illness but Keith went all the way to the semis!

dont have a price yet . There will be 2 different versions. 1 for aftermarket ecus and 1 for bikes with factory ecus.

No..these are beta testing units. You must be willing to provide alot of data, ride the bike a good amount, dyno before and after, and not get pissed if you get stranded somewhere . We need to test the units ot make sure they are good to go.

Here is a video of a really fat start up. Wanted to see how the ignitor would handle a cold start with an abundance of fuel.

Check out the air fuel reading on the left side of the dash (lower)

Seb I have a suggestion. IDK if you already thought of it or not but when you do start selling these units can you put the stock coil plugs on the ends of the output wires for the stock ecu users? Or at least supply the little ends that go in the plug. I cant seem to find them and it would make for a cleaner install. Just a thought......
