Anyone who is going to run Prostreet or Realstreet or Crazy 8's at MIR for the October race who needs a set of two numbers and class designator (PST or RST or crazy 8 [not sure what the crazy 8 designator is??] ), send me a PM with your number, color choice, and shipping address by September 6th (labor day) and I will get you hooked up with a free set of numbers. This will be a set for the left and right.

Color choices will be limited to: corn yellow, red, black, light green, dark green, gold, or Beige. (Please pick one of these as a first choice. If you have a different request, Also put that in the message as I may have some other colors laying around.)

I only ask that you please use your best judgement and don't take advantage of this if you already have numbers as I am very limited with my time trying to get a bike together and take care of my two girls.

This is ONLY for those that will be at the MIR race and who need numbers for their bike.

Jason, I love racing MIRROCK. Please don't start fees/membership like AMA did. The expense to pay their fees/membership in addition to entry fees and travel expenses made racing that sanction unaffordable. I am sure that is the case w/ many.

I have always had vinyl numbers on my bike; but your track personnel, when calling the number/dial in to tower do not look at it. What they are always looking at is the run dot sticker from tech located on the front of the bike. I feel bad for somebody who brakes and needs to grab/borrow a bike last minute. They are not walking around with vinyl numbers in there pocket. But if you run with out YOUR number on the bike some how tape shoe piolish ect. you should not get the points.

I don't think that is the intent of Jason's post. There will always be the occasional exception, however, I believe Jason's focus is those who don't have the right numbers on the bike of the trailer or who always seem to have "last minute exceptions".

Sorry, I meant we are NOT going to start doing memberships. The only way we can continue to do points programs though is if the number situation gets under control or else we have to start cutting back on which classes we have a points program for. Other series charge memberships and MIROCK does not, we just need some racers to step up and use the same number and have their 3" vinyl numbers on the bike.
