About LinkBacksAttention Pro Street and Real Street...
For 2010 MIROCK has turned the first shakedown run on Saturday into an official qualifying session, making it 4 qualifying sessions on Saturday (instead of one shakedown run and 3 qualifying sessions). There will be no shakedown runs on Saturday any longer, but everyone will still get the same amount of 4 runs, they just all count for qualifying now.
However, there will still be one shakedown run on Sunday before eliminations.
Grudge bikes will still run after the pros each session.

Yeah, sometimes riders would come out make the shakedown run and hurt something and not have time to fix it the rest of the day, and there pass didnt count for anything. Now it is a qualifier and will put them on the ladder

I'm just curious, but why the shake down run on Sunday? I would think it's more challenging knowing that you have to be ready on Sunday. Get everything ready on Saturday and come out gunning on Sunday. Just like NHRA.

Wow, this is the first time I have ever heard anyone complain about giving a couple classes an extra run. We do it because they appreciate it, have always done it, and most take advantage of it.

It's not a complaint, I just think it raises the intensity level a little more. When that racer wakes up, he knows he has to be right for the first race.
