Also this is an all motor class. Everyone is talking about cost so i dont see why a pc-bazzaz plus a wego and sb6 if u need it wont suffice. The kiss principle should apply in this class. Or a spec standalone that cost around the same as those units..spec fuel and standalone if u choose that. Steves buy option is nice as well. If u dont u will have those 12k heads like u do in grudge now

2005 Busa "Charlie Murphy"
NOS Grudge Busa "Sam Cook"
So if i cant get my busa combo down to 625 lbs i should just stay home?

Show2time very true if this is going to be spec fuel then have other spec options over stock parts if you chose to use them. Shyt I'm lost i will just build to suite this class and see what happens and yes its going to be on a small backyard build like most everyone else on here

Phil what bike/set-up are you intending to run in the class? Your old superbike watercooled or late model sportbike?
Worlds Fastest motorcycle 311mph
Fastest naked motorcycle 255mph
2nd fastest naked motorcycle 248mph
FastesT N/Abike everywhere 254mph 256GPS
2nd fastest N/A bike 238mph
3rd fasted N/A bike 235mph 1349cc
4th fastest N/A bike 223mph
everybody says they wanna see who can build the most hp and fastest bikes with some rules in place so put some damn rules in the class. not who can buy the most expensive parts. we got a class like that. pprostreet is a damn moneypit with 60thousand dollar bikes wit the best of the best of everything. its a money class. aint no regular guys running in the top of that class. realstreet is the same way. its all shop owned or sponsored bikes winning. yall want another class like that then go ahead but id like to see a heads up class that the average guy can run. nobody wants to see another class with 25 busas sitting in line running the same combos withthe same guys up front all the time. keep the costs in reason and the rules strict enuff so that a shop wont step in with crazy backing and dominate. you keep the parts prices average and alot of the small guys can let their engine building and tuning capabilities keep them competitive. if not it will be prostreet all over and the shop bikes will dominate like they do every season. htp, williford, dme, adams. look at the prostreet class. its all shop bikes in the top. there are a few guys out there doin ok by themselves but they arent poor dudes and arent winning championships. dont make this class another shop bike dominated class
My water-cooled is long gone. There have been plenty of times I wish I never parted it out and still had it. If I did, I might would think about putting a no-bar rear on it and see what it would do in this class. It was only 1298cc, so I think it would probably struggle to run 7.6-7.7 like this class is going to take. If I could lighten it up enough then maybe 7.80s, probably no better without putting some stroke in it or finding a really light rider. It also had carbs, although it probably would have been changed to EFI by now, so there may be issues with the rules, depending on what they are, as to whether or not it would even be legal.
As for a late-model bike, I have no intention of running anything in this class. My days of riding are likely over, I will stick to what I do best and just tune our bikes and our customers bikes. The shop has a ZX10 being built to grudge race that we might consider converting over to this class. We will have to wait and see what the rules are going to be, and whether we really want to get involved with something else right now. My time is limited, plus we have a new Pro Street bike to sort out as well as several customers, including a couple that might try out this class themselves.

Any popular class is going to turn into a "sop bike' dominated class.
How do you hthe shops sell parts and labor? If they were all finishing last, I doubt they would have much business.
