zx12 cam degree

This is a discussion about zx12 cam degree within the Kawasaki ZX12R-ZX14 section, where you will Kawasaki Kings of street and strip; I'am on a budget and just want to ask, should I degree my cams or not? I have a 1270 kit, light porting on the head, stock cams, and planning to spray 100 shot wet.

i hope you have a progressive box if you are on a budget (like me) a 100 shot would be very hard on the motor all at once, and unrideable. ramp it in slow and it will live a lot longer

i would first check cam timing and go from there. its not allways perfect from the factory, and different head gaskets ect will change it
01 ZX-12R 8.84 @ 156.3 no bars, DOT rubber, Pump Gas NA. now turbo, working out some bugs. 8.86 @168.9 on low boost
    00 ZX-12R 8.62 @ 165.2 no bars, slicks, Pump Gas, 55 shot

Yes I have a progressive box. As or checking the timing, I don't know how to I would have to pay somebody, thats why I was asking if I should leave it stock.
