In the tool box. I just notch a little whole in the box for the wires and velcro the controller in. Fits easily and well hidden Bill...

I put mine in the right side tail piece behind the voltage regulator.

Any of you guys running this controller figure out how to get the window switch to work?

I mounted mini inside of subframe, right side, forward most position, using heavy duty two sided tape. Set the following to get signal to work,
    1. Set step "C" = 00 (individual coil per cylinder, where grd trigger wire is connected to the coil.
    2. Number of cylinders = 02
With above setting the MINI will see half the value of actual rpm, in other words if motorcycle rpm is 1000rpm, MINI is reading ( 0.50), if motorcycle rpm is 10600,
MINI is reading (5.30). Therefore in practice with above set up you can have a motorcycle that revs to 19,800 which would be9.90 reading on MINI or 9,900 rpm. Hope this helps, MPS steered me in the right direction, give them a hulla if you need help.
