ZX-10R or ZX-12R

This is a discussion about ZX-10R or ZX-12R within the Kawasaki ZX12R-ZX14 section, where you will Kawasaki Kings of street and strip; Need help choosing between the two. 04-05 ZX-10R or 03-05 ZX-12R? I weigh 215 in shorts and plan on keeping it stock wheelbase for the street. Which would be the best bang for the buck.

The zx12R is a hell of a good bike, I've owned two of them and they are great for riding and racing.

I want the faster of two thats all for my weight. Thinking the 10R might carry it well.

Go with the 12 if your bigger it will get you tucked better and have more torque to pull you .

my vote would be the 10... light, plenty of power and parts would be easier to find.

I have an 01 ZX12. Its no slouch. Bought it new. An old 92 ZX11. Its still not that slow. And an 05 ZX10. The ten definitely shows its light weight and power. Feels like a mini bike in comparison. Havent had a chance to run a 14 with it since it was stock length with a slip on and PC3. Sure would give a 2012 a good run from various speeds. Much to the guys dismay and dissaproval how an old shit design of a 10 could be that fast.

    Default 12 r

I have a 2000 zx 12 and a 05 zx 12 bought the o5 brand new never had a minutes trouble out of it other than clutches when i raced it. I would recommend the bike for sure many of passes on mtr on nos still runs like new, yes its no comparison to the 10r far as a race but if you wana ride 300 miles you would be able to race it and ride back home if you want too after a road trip. The 2000 has been a great bike too it only has 4700 miles on it bought it with a salvage title very little damage still ridable just never put alot of seat time on it. I also have a 07 zx 14 love that bike as well.
