R6 motor on a 87 Warrior frame

    I would guess a lot. Cut out frame till the engine fits. fab motor mounts and radiator mounts. Aftermarket fuel system. plumb the fuel system. Find mounting spots for all your electronics lenghten or shorten wiring as necessary

    That's a start sure you will find more as you get into it.

    im thinkin bout buildin one wit a R1 motor cause i have a wrecked R1 that was gave to me but i have a friend building one wit a R6 motor and he thinks its a walk in the park to do

    If you have a welding machine and some fabrication skills it won't be that bad just take some time worst parts is going to be making sure the chain an motor is square with the sprocket on the rear axle

    A lot depends on what your looking to build.
    You looking to build a bike with 4 wheels or an ATV that truly looks like an ATV?

    Building a bike with 4 wheels is easier, just slap swinger and a front end on a bike frame.

    Building an ATV the still looks like an ATV without the use of the bike fairings, gas tank, and seat, is a bit trickier.
    To keep it truly stock looking you need a tubing bender to do the frame,along with some creativity, welding and fabricating skills.
    As mentioned, you need to build a fuel system. Using the stock wiring harness is recommended.

    Also as mentioned, engine and sprocket placement id pretty important.

    This aspect is SOOOO overlooked. I see it in 90% of all the conversion bikes I see. People dont consider the placement of the counter sprocket in relationship to the pivot point of the swinger and the length of the swinger in order to make the suspension work properly.
    Then they end up with a chain that gets too tight or too loose as the suspension works and either they break cases from pulling on the primary or breaking cases from the chain flying off at a really bad time.
    There is an ATV website full of guys that have done this very same type of build. :)
