minibike Dragracing

This kind of in the same concept of ATV's I was wondering if anyone is into minibike Dragracing? I it is real big on the west coast,and a little here in Detroit. I am just starting to get into it, this is a real Cheap fun thing to do.The fist time I seen anything like this was at a Local spot,this guy pulled up in a truck with a Minibike in the back, Then he asked a few people with Banshees if they wanted to run him,The guys at the spot started to call him a Pussy and to get a Real "toy" and one of them said you can tell the difference between a Man and a boy by the price and size of his toy.I was like wow,that had to hurt, until the guy with the minibike said then put $500 on it, of course we all start laughing and said man That is a easy $500. Well this guy fired up the mini bike,and the guy with the Banshee about **** his pants. Needless to say the mine bike Drug a 10,000 Quad, for the whole 1/8 mile . Just something to keep in mind.Another guy has A Jr.Dragster motor in one here is the link to the vid,BTW in CAL Some of these guys Are doing 90mph in the 1/4 mile. For a MInibike that is Movin,and this is with a Built Harbor Freight " Honda Clone Motor" you can get them for a $100 bucks when they go on sale. and put about $500 into it, well let's just say you have on hell of a pit bike.

we do something similar, we have been racing mini quads, we take older honda 70's and put the pitster pro 150cc motors in them and convert them to meth, a pipe and a couple of bolt on's and these little things will run with a stock banshee, im in the middle of building a drag chassis out of a 2002 honda 90 quad, im pushing the front out ten inch's and the back out about 6 or 8 inch's. they are alot of fun to ride.

Well I guess, I have to step up my game, Do you or J have any carbs I can try will my new combo? and I hope you will be able to weld in some simple 6in ext and move a motor plate back 2 inch's in the time we have Thanks again for doing this for me, If I start that job this week I am screwed, so lets knock this bad boy out.

you guys know the name ron meyer? he has a nitro kawi that he built by hand; machined his own cases, made the clutch, etc. well his mini bike that he uses to push it around happens to be THE baddest minibike anywhere.

Rons minibike has ran a best so far of 9.84 at 134 , and the minibike is self starting, runs on pump gas and tows the 800 pound the top fuel bike. we are always willing to have a friendly minibike competition
