Why aren't the ATVs supported as much???
This is a discussion about Why aren't the ATVs supported as much??? within the ATV Racers section, where you will Drag, Sand, Asphalt, Hillshooters, and Dune Racers; I was sitting here trying to figure out why aren't more individuals interested in the Ashault drag racing of ATVs. I know it's not because of the excitement because these things run 5s all day

Why aren't the ATVs supported as much???
I was sitting here trying to figure out why aren't more individuals interested in the Ashault drag racing of ATVs. I know it's not because of the excitement because these things run 5s all day and have been in the 4.90s. Still the sport does not get any love when the events are thrown from fans or spectators? What does it take to open a couple of people's eyes to this sort of excitement? I kind of figured that they would be looked at as part of the bikes but apparently, I was wrong so who has input, suggestions, etc.......

Yeah the sand/dirt thing is doing pretty good but there are ashault shootouts that have been going on for a few years now and a couple of events that I have been to was a pretty good turn out but then, I've been to some with damn near 130 racers and nobody in the seats. I know when we did the sanctioning run for the IHRA national finals, the crowd went nutts when they say that board light up so with that type of response from a national event, I can not understand why there are not more supporters! Maybe the advertising needs to step up!

the field for it is risky not big enough with the public and it will not sale on it's own so it would be better to blend in with the bike events where and when ever possible cause it's all up too the consumer and what they are willing to pay to see a bike event or atv event bikes hands down i know that's what i would do but nothing wrong with a little mixing it up a bit but not to much.

i started out with the atv races but like u said nothing happens here where i live they tried a couple different times and tracks people say there coming and dont show up so i think its done around here becouse the tracks lost money in the past so thats what i think i sold mine and got a couple bikes and it is great just my 2 cents

banshees are way to exspensive to make go fast.you can put the same amount of money in a busa and run low eights and they wont break every other pass.

Sounds like you needed a better builder. We don't break anymore with our banshee's than we do with our bikes. I haven't spent a fortune either. I wish I could say the same on the bike side.lol

Re: Why aren't the ATVs supported as much???
suprised you spelled everything right in that paragraph blake!!!
lol jp...
yea i like watching four wheelers cause the people that ride them are crazy no way id sit on something that darts all over the track like that...
i just think more people have motorcycles and put aftermarket parts on them than atv owners do...
thats why drag racing fourwheelers isnt as big as motorcycles just because theres not a huge consumer base for products so theres less actual racers out there
