Nothing against Tim, he makes a great product for streetbikes. But a banshee engine is a different animal altogether. Just asking a question to the man himself, or anyone who has used the clutch in this appplication.

this product was developed in request from owners in the high performance banshee market.

the design has been assisted by several banshee engine builders and tuners for this application.

yes it is in its infancy prototype stage and is available to all banshee owners who want new options to try and make there vehicles faster,or to obtain more and different tuning parameters.

we are open to any info or suggestions you have regarding banshee or other popular atv vehicles that would allow us to make the best product we can.

i think this clutch will make be the way to go.

banshee 2 stroke motors have a narrow power band and they are very sluggish on the lower end. By having a stall rpm i believe the common bog at the start will be easier to tune out than a regular lock up.

The problem is the power pulse of a two stroke engine. They don't hold consistent RPM for slider applications. The bog that you are speaking of can be tuned out with proper carb tuning. Tim I would be very interested in having a conversation with you about this topic. I also know who you were dealing with before on the prototype as it was my old bike that the parts came out of. I'M ON LASTMAN SIDE ON THIS TOPIC.
I HAVE WORKED WITH HINSON RACING ON IS.
HINSON WILL SAY THE SAME. IT DON'T HOLD CONSISTENT RPM'S FOR THE SLIDER TO WORK RIGHT.

we are not limited only to slider operation our clutch is Convertable to a lever operated multi stage engine driven lockup which in other vehicles has shown to be much better than the way clutches were designed in the past.

Tim and I have been talking about this for sometime now and the rpm issue is easily resolved with a little help from available ignition add-ons. This design will allow you to control the quad in the 60" (where it is very inconsistant) and also give you the capability to clean out the carbs after a burn out. This is pretty much a proven design. If the budget allowed it I would prove it in a minute but just not affordable at this time with all that is going on, maybe the event will allow me the oppertunity to make the addition.

Had the design been completed a week earlier it would be in 2 quads for the event but just not enough time now.

that is correct they were 2 strokes too.

what is the displacement difference between a h2 and a banshee?

The H2's were 750cc triples...............banshees start at 350cc, after market cylinders and cases i beilve they go from around 400cc twins up to 1100cc
triples from 800 cc up tp 1500cc
4 cyilndrs couger are i guess around the 1600cc

those numbers are approximations, as every now and then new motors come out.
