Does it have to be spelled out word for word right down to the vin, make, and model to eliminate people from pushing every part of the rulebook?
yes

i agree.
From where I see it they already have enough streetbike classes. Clearly the bike will never see the street. Even the fans aren't fooled. It already takes too much money to make any noise anyway
so I say Headlight tail light min weight and let them go. easy to tech and no drama oh and lets see the 6's

I wonder if we checked the vins how many are actually 08 and newer.
No
against that, you can update body work on SuperSport bike too.

Replacement parts permitted but must retain the shape of the stock parts they replace....4.2.5.7.1 body Looks like a rule to me........
99-07 busa body is shaped different then newer stuff.......
but like I said let them hang it all out and show us what they can do!!!

For SS class

For PST class

Re: Valdosta updates ?
LOL what a load of bollox , if you read rules theres a big feking hole as far as i can see was a rightous pass on a per spec bike
OEM sports bike means any OEM , iv no idea who this bloke is but he stuck buy rules as they WRITEN
This need to be addressed by AMA as ther **** up
builder did what he was allowed to do by rules , if rules are wrong or in gery FFS ya cant blame some one for following them and to call such a person a cheat is way out of order , when its clearly down to some lazy fek at AMA not making it all clear , or maybe it is clear they just forgot to tell every one in rule updates

Re: Valdosta updates ?
Based on everything I have read here and in the rules, you cannot DQ someone for following the rules. It is not his fault that the rule is NOT written the way a lot of you think it should be. Fact is that it does not state anything about what model of fork has to be used. Just sport bike forks!
Pinky is one sexy bitch, and I hope this **** does not keep them away from the track as that would be a huge loss for racers and fans alike!

I as a spectator would love to see this also. I would think this would take a little pressure off tech as well.
6 second passes on a street tire...
