Some could call it karma as far as Ronnie is concerned. Barry didn't you and Kent have heavy wheels on those hondas back in the day and then you later dimed out Kent? Washer fluid in the water tank? Nitrous pushing through the water tank? I mean how is any of this fair to those who race on the up and up and within the rules? The funny thing is those who have hands in forming the rules are the very ones that most often violate them. It's not right when guys load up, drag their equipment and spend money to play in a dirty sandbox. Like the old saying goes, "It's not cheating unless you get caught". Now what?

First off, not one time in my dads drag racing career has he cheated or used a "grey area" in a way that wasnt intended. The whole nitrous in the water injecion is a joke, nitrous holds pressure alot longer than co2 does, you could run your bike all day with nitrous in the tank and not have to re fill it. but i guess these things would be made up against people who go fast and set records, that seems to happen to everyone, especially from people on the outside looking in.They can tear our bikes down to the frame, they are legit, and my dad along with taylor are going fast that way. Congrats to rob budgell as well, great group of guys there !!!!!

Re: Valdosta updates ?
where do I start.
FRONT SUSPENSION & WHEEL ASSEMBLY: No ballast may be mounted to any portion of the front suspension, brake system, fender system, or rotating assembly.( I had no ballast mounted)
No parts of the front suspension, brake system, fender system, or rotating assembly may be remanufactured from exotic heavy materials, including tungsten steel, HD-17, or Mallory metal.
(I had none.)
No portion of the front fork leg assemblies may be replaced with a heavier replacement component. Aftermarket or custom forks may not be heavier than industry-standard OEM sport bike forks.
(so what this is saying is that I can run any year any make and any model forks that I want even custom forks as long as they don't wight more then industry-standard OEM sport bike forks.so what are industry-standard OEM sport bike forks wight.that is the big thing,I have wighted ten difrent forks this week and they are from 7 pounds to 15 pounds.so if I want I can make my own custom forks up as long as they wight less then industry-standard OEM sport bike forks.or I can run 95 zx9 forks that wight 14 pounds on my bike as long as I don't replace component with heavier parts but if I start of with heaver forks I will be replacing them with ligher parts.so now you know what happen to me.)so you can run custom forks they just have to wight less then industry-standard OEM sport bike forks just no one know what that is.

Not when the rules say you cannot have nitrous on the bike at all!! So he didn't have a heavy wheel, huh? Anyway my point was more about how someone playing three card monty with rulebook affects those who play by the rules!! Take it how you like. It is what it is!!

Barry was never found cheating with a front heavy wheel.. Kent got caught up with a heavy front hub in a wheel. By that time Barry was already running a busa.

Re: Valdosta updates ?
if none of the founders of this class (Kent, Barry, Ronnie etc....) oushed the so called grey area we would all be running 8's. i applaude the effort they put into the bikes to make them faster or find ways for them to hookup. Sebs traction control and ams (not really a grey area, but you get the idea).
if this is a grey area then good for you ronnie. if it was a clear violation and you didn't think you would get caught, well then bad on you (don't see that as the case). now tech will get involved and make the rule even more clear for the riders and builders.
anyone who judges the innovative spirit of this class doesn't know how competative the class can be and how .005 means load it up or go to the next round.

I didn't say he got caught, now did I? Is it only when you get caught doing something wrong that you are cheating? Or is it. So I can go get some Harley Road King forks and put them on a bike and be legal? C'mon man!! This kind of crap hurts the sport, Period!!! I can bet that Mirock follows the same route on rules as AMA so no need to beat up on any sanction that enforces it's rules. It's simply not fair to those who play by the rules! The funny thing is guys always play dumb as to the intent of a rule and then feel as they are the victim when they get caught!! Out of bounds is out of bounds!! Some need to look up the definition of the word "cheat"!!

Re: Valdosta updates ?
MIROCK will follow course with AMA's decision on this subject, when they make a final ruling.

JUST FYI SEAN NITROUS AND CO2 ARE BOTH IN LIQUID FORM WHEN COMPRESSED SO IF U HAVE 900 PSI OF EITHER GAS YOU HAVE THE SAME VOLUME . NEITHER ONE WILL OUTLAST THE OTHER .

To acused someone of cheating without facts is just wrong. I'm not sticking up for anyone or any team. I just stated that Barry was never found cheating. So to attempt to drag a fellow member, sponsor, and team owners names threw the mud without proof isn't right either.
