They are not legal. they were 8lbs heavier than mine. there are no cartridges known to man that are 8 lbs heavier than the hayabusa ones. and even if there were, its not legal to use them. Its simple and everyone in the class knows this. this is not a grey area and its not a secret. You cant add any weight, any way to your fork tubes. every prostreet racer knows this.This is covered in the rule book any way you look at it. You cant replace the cartridge with a heavier one, even if it is oem.

It sucks for guys like Victor Gotay that got his day ended early to an Illegal bike. Dean has done a fantastic job this weekend. checked seat height, 1-2 auto's and front forks. He has brought the integrity back to ama dragbike tech!!!

Not heavy forks!!!!!! just not Hayabusa but Suzuki which is still legal

I'll give the tech guys a thumbs up, They warned us about our chain guard, it was legal but if we adjusted chain any tighter it was not going to be. Told us to do something about before we got in trouble.

He also told us about the snell rating on our helment...expires after this season. I hadn't even thought about it.

I dont have a clue if the bike was legal or not BUT if it was I sure hate it for Vic and Ken if it was. They were having a good weekend.
