4.3.1.9.1 MODIFICATIONS Unless otherwise noted all parts on the motorcycle must be stock OEM components appropriate for the year and model of bike. Unless a specific exception is given, only cosmetic modifications (plating, painting, chroming, etc) are permitted to the engine, frame, suspension, bodywork, seat, controls, or electrical system of the bike. If a modification is not specifically listed as legal within this rulebook, then it is not legal. Replacement of components from other model bikes is not permitted. Minimal modifications for the purpose of mounting many of the allowable aftermarket components, such as control boxes, switches, nitrous bottles and solenoids, intercoolers, etc. is permitted. Small panels or brackets for mounting electrics or other components are permitted. Tech department has final word on whether modifications are acceptable.

Re: Valdosta updates ?
Sorry guys, dont get on here much anymore. I have never had a heavy wheel, and I have never "Dimed" anyone out. In fact, I have been tore down and checked more than everyone else in the class combined!!! Never in violation of the rules.
Rodney is 100% correct. You have to look at the intent of the rules as well. It has always been common knowledge that adding weight to the front forks was illegal. But hey, I am just glad tech is doing their job for the first time in a long time.

Nitrous pushing through the water tank? I mean how is any of this fair to those who race on the up and up and within the rules? The funny thing is those who have hands in forming the rules are the very ones that most often violate them. It's not right when guys load up, drag their equipment and spend money to play in a dirty sandbox. Like the old saying goes, "It's not cheating unless you get caught". Now what?
