As a newbie to the ProStreet World, I still find this stunning. IMO it is clearly a rule infraction, regardless of however you want to interpret the rule.
And for the record....... If I roll up in the lane with KAWASAKI forks on my Hayabusa.... FEEL FREE TO DQ ME... because thats exactly what I would expect.

I used Kawasaki as an example just like he did.....
By his "interpretation of the rule".... he's saying he could use OEM Kawasaki forks on his bike.....per his post....

There is no rule about using other manufacturers' parts on your bike. You can use a CBR900 ( or ftermarket ) front wheel in 16" if you want....even though no sportbikes come with them anymore and have not for quite some time...

It's going through the appeal process. There was a DQ, it's been appealed, it's out of Tech's hands at this point.

Somebody was informed because the appeal board has all but returned the verdict on this case..If there was no DQ, the appeal board would not be hearing this case..
