Ronnie I'm not saying you did any thing wrong. Please understand that, What I'm saying is if builders do not push the limits or read into the rules, look for new ideas etc etc. then the bikes will all be running the same numbers day after day, year after year. I'd expect any body building a bike for me to be on the cutting edge of what they can do.

Now since there is a question of what has been done it's up to tech to make a decision as where to go from here. Either revise the rule to allow or disallow this action. Like I said before, NASCAR runs into this all the time. After all I have read on here I don't see any "cheating" being done. It's not like they say wheel base can only be 64" and your running 65". It's more like they say bike can only be 64" and your 65" and your view is I am at 64" if you measure it at front of tire to rear of tire. It all depends on where you measure.

One key thing missing there is ...measurement to be made from center axle to center axle.

Who wrote the rule book?? I'm sorry but if AMA/Dragbike can't write a rule book ppl can read the rules are blk n white then yes Ama is to blame for the grey area..

Does the M109 use "Industry Standard Sportbike Forks"? If it does, then everyone SHOULD be using them since that would be within the rules. I really doubt it does though.

A buell built by harley is a sport bike why don't I just go get me a set

I understand Ronnie. You know me and I know you. I know what you did. Problem is Phil wrote the rulebook. But I know when I sat down with Dean, with input from Phil, and a few other people. I know how the rule was worded and written. Why you were told that it was ok or whatever, was beyond me. I would have simply double checked with tech since there were so many changes last year in regards to that.

no one on this board knows what the fcuk ronnie had in his forks being that they werent taken apart so guess what this whole thread dont mean **** no one will ever know what was in his forks now because the forks are guess what with ronnie so end it if anyone feels they need to cheat then guess what there cheating themselves so have at it
