And we may have two prostreet bikes next year. God only knows ! And I dont want a rule change Just for J.T., If there was a change I want it to be best for every one. + im not going to just run MIROCK, Who ever starts out on the bike will finish both series. PEACE COBY
My vote is for Ryan Schnitz to run both series if JT can't.

Re: Will the rule be changed in Real Street???
This rule is dumb. If i would win the championship next year i would feel cheated. If you can,t race the champ because of a rule, and not his choice to move up.

AMA has done a great job at keeping the playing field even and JT has had his time to reign supreme in that class and now it's time for him to move on to bigger and better things!!
I have to agree with Dwayne on this one. The rules were in place 2 years ago when JT one the first championship he got to come back and defend it,he did and won it again. This class is not a professional class and is supposed to be a sportsman class to lead the racers in to prostreet, isnt it? The rules are the rules and everyone should have to abide by them, having them changed to fit one person is not right.just my .02

Is Ryan Schnitz looking to come back to AMA and MIROCK? I was wandering when this would happen.

to all that disagree just because it's a rule don't make it right when the rules got unified (AMA & Mirock) this should have been addressed ex. Htp & Keith can return to Mirock as defending Champion and Adams Performance & Jeremy can not to AMA, when the rules were unified for the racer to have less problems between the two sanctions.
this rule against Jeremy isn't fair because of the fact that his only choice is a pro class which has limited entries and higher entry fee's and higher maintinence cost

Re: Will the rule be changed in Real Street???
THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS
1. THE RULE WAS IN PLACE WHEN YOU STARTED THIS YEAR. IT IS WHAT IT IS.
2. THIS IS A SPORTSMAN CLASS. NOT A PRO CLASS. THEREFORE IT IS INTENDED TO ALLOW NEW UP AND COMERS TO THE GAME. SO IT IS A SMART MOVE TO LIMIT THE CHAMPIONSHIPS.
3. ITS HARD ENOUGH AT THE SPEEDS THESE GUYS ARE GOING FOR A WORKING MAN( SPORTSMAN) TO GET A PLACE TO FIT IN. NOW YOU WANT A SPONSORED RIDER TO JUST SIT THERE AND COLLECT CHAMPIONSHIPS..? NO.. MOVE UP CLASSES... WITH TWO CHAMPIONSHIPS IN A ROW YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FURTHER YOUR MARKETING AND GET SOME MORE SPONSOR ******S..
I'M SURE THIS IS MORE ADAMS WANTING TO BUILD HIS BUSINESS NAME MORE THAN IT IS JEREMY WANTING TO STAY.
4. IF I HAD IT MY WAY (FAT CHANCE) THE WOULD BE NO SPONSORS ALLOWED IN THE SPORTSMAN CLASSES, THATS WHY THERE ARE PRO CLASSES!
IF YOU CAN\"T RACE IT OR TAKE IT TO BED IT AIN\"T WORTH HAVING !!!!!
IF YOU CAN TURN YOUR NOT GOING FAST ENOUGH !!!

addressing #2 who in the class is new, looks like a bunch of pro riders, and i can't say jeremy is a pro rider at 18? is he a Rickey Gadson, Chip Ellis, Keith Thompson?
Addressing #3 we already have one of the biggest names in the sport, we build fast bikes and people get the throw there leg over them, who wouldn't want to ride one? Ask Jermey who pays is way to the track, who pays him to ride? He will say he does, not much sponsorship there, just an chance to ride a killer bike..
addressing #4, so getting any sponsorship you can't run the class, so if someone got free gas for the event they can't run? seems kida dumb to me.

I agree also being so many rule changes, being a different class than last year. Should he have another year to defend under new rules and different class?

Who here could afford the jump from Real Street to Pro Street?
-
Re: Will the rule be changed in Real Street???
A true entry-level, limited budget class, Real Street is designed to give the entry-level racer a place to compete in heads-up, no breakout competition. Almost any racer currently competing in any Street ET class around the country can bring his or her bike, with little or no modifications, and experience true heads-up racing for the first time.
They might want to address this. You have a 7 second entry level class, I want to see the average street ET bike with a entry-level rider run a 7.90..
