He should be able to defend his title as many times as he want's if the AMA is worried about it then the can break the class up and give the other guy's (slower) something to shoot for...

You know what let him run, won't affect me either way. AMA is going to do what they want to anyway. if he can in the 7s with a stock motor on spray then he's a bad man

Playthings bike running 7.60's while everybody else was running 7.90-8.10's...you tell me what was gonna happen? What I'm about to say is not intended to take away from anybodies accomplishment in any given class but it makes it hard for racers to come into a sportsman class or series when you let certain people pad their resume with championship after championship...the class will not prosper that way...you will have a few people come on here and say that would want to take on the champ but the truth of the matter is they don't know what they want until they have got in there with the champ and see that it's not as easy as it looks from the sideline...AMA has done a great job at keeping the playing field even and JT has had his time to reign supreme in that class and now it's time for him to move on to bigger and better things!!

I hate it for jt I like to watch him race.BUT if he or anybody else goes into a class with a rule already in place then you need to live by the rule. If the rule was enacted after you won then I would say he has every right to try and get it changed.

I don't think JT would have a problem picking up a ride in pro street everybody knows he can ride the wheels off anything. I wouldn't bet against him if he was on a schwyn.

Best of luck what ever happens.

I really think the rule should be change not just because I watch him grow up as a kid. but as the class was made for anybody off the street come and compete in the class. But we all know that these arent every day street bike running 8.20 or faster anyways. There will always be fly weight riders in every class out there & Jeremy wont be the last. Its more impressive to see Del & Coby running them # anyways. What ever happens I wish Jeremy the best Im glad I was apart of his 1st REAL STREET Champion ship. But what happen to the talk of the all motor class for next season? Something to think about.

I have to agree with what the guy about the rules... If they worked last year why change them because one riders circumstances has. I watched real street and all the other classes very close this year and what really impressed me was Nick moving up to the next level; regardless of money or backing he did it. Thats a good model to follow in my opinion. JT did an awesome job, now it's time for him to move up to the big dogs... Congrats J.T. and good luck in whatever the future may hold.

I think teasley is a great lil dude. But i cant believe yall guys have the nerve to say change the rules. This rule was made up when the class first started and everyone was aware of it.Now that his time is up i dont think its fair to other racers or Ama to have to change the rules,If thats the case i feel they should take wheelbase from anyone 150 or smaller.Do you see where im going with this. Not bashing but giving my imput,You go start changing rules for one person you got to change them for more!!!!!!!

Well for people that do not know I would say JT's real street bike is about 20k or so to build and a pro street would be about 60k-70k to build and the bike uses way more clutchs and tires. I can understand why Coby wants to keep JT on the real street bike he already has but hey if anyone knows of a sponsor looking to own a pro street bike and cut a nice check of 60k I am sure Coby will glad to put JT in pro street and they let Ryan Schnitz ride the real street bike.
