    4.3.1.2.1 CLUTCH
Slider clutches, engine-driven centrifugal engagement clutches, or any engine-driven lockup clutches are prohibited. Lockups must be mechanically attached to the transmission input shaft, and may not be mechanically attached to the clutch basket or any component positively driven by the crankshaft. I thought single stage lockup were only allowed! According to this it says nothing about multistage lockups and whether they can be used or not!!

Where are the entry level classes? How is someone suppose to build a bike and set it up when everytime you turn around rules are being twisted!! Who came up with this one? And why? The bikes were running big numbers as it was. Added cost and setup time for a class that was suppose to have realistic rules for the guys who couldn't afford prostreet! Hell, just give everyone sliders and let them go wild! Little nick was going 7.60s with a single stage lockup last season! What benefit is it to allow multistage lockups in this class? Why mess with the rules when there was enough trouble trying to keep the class competitive!

They do the same thing to EVERY class. 60" was supposed to be entry level streetbike class! They even banned Coby's watercooled because it was a race bike. Now look at it now, PSB. Nothing street about those bikes.

True street was to be an entry level street bike class as well. Those 64" 1000s are nothing but grudge bikes with stock bodywork now!!!

Our old super street bike still has a single stage in it, and Stacy Smith went 7.88 and took the number 1 qualifier spot in Valdosta this year. I am pretty sure the Adams Super Street bike will still have one this year too.

Look at what a Super Street bike costs to build. The multi isnt but about $600 more that a two stage. I'm sure all the guys are already running the billet inner hub and basket so all you're talking about changing is the snowflake which makes even less of a difference in price. As much money as these guys are putting into these Super Street and Real Street bikes they should be able to run a good clutch set up. I know you'll probably never see lock ups in Real Street, but I wish those bikes could just lock the clutch and let em eat so we could see what they could really run. Its real hard to be a real avg Joe and run these classes. Hard to outrun money, but hell, thats what heads up racing is. You do what you have to do to win, just have to learn to live with certain things after a while. At least thats what I've done.
