It is what it is and you have to do what you have to do... I just hope you are relax like you were last year and at least give guys who didn't know and new guys a chance to get them and not just turn them away there first time....

What is the rules and what is done are 2 different things. But if you are claiming we will be following the rules for this year. I sure hope we follow all of them. I am sorry. But I cant sit idle when we are going to pick on one rule....But not follow all of them. And if the Track isnt going to enforce all of the rules. Why would we push people away?


Lets see....I can think of 3 or 4 bikes that dont FIT the rules in certain classes.

The rules are posted on the 2ws website but only rule that isn't is full leathers for any bike over 120mph. That is a Ihra and Nhra rule and most tracks enforce it.

Here's an example of last year,I asked many riders if they had leather pants,they replied yes,there in my trailer its just to hot with them on. I said if you have them get them on please.Another rider says no I do not have leather pants,I replied please have them for the next event.So this always ain't a money issue,its racers just not doing what they are supposed to.Im no trying to be a hard ass to any one,but I will if someone jacks me around every week with the same excuses,I will look out for the new racers as I have in the past,but my god your just spending 200.00 dollars for pants.Ive seen many wind breaker jackets,no gloves,jackets unzipped,high speeds on return roads,scooter accidents,and etc.Just trying to run this thing the right way,and safety will be my main concern.

This is a series wide rule. Anyone who goes over 120mph is under this rule, reguardless of which class. The pants are a lot less expensive the most of the street riding jackets many of you wear now. I know many of those of pushing $400 alone. We can get out the fine tooth comb over the rules if you like. Tech will open at 10:00 am and you won't be out of it until around 1:00pm. It's a man power issue. Or, like has worked for the past nine years, when someone is out of line with the rules a "little bird" will appear on our shoulder to let us know. You finally grew a set, now protect them!

All AGV stuff, but the pants are slightly used. I think I wore the jacket twice. Cant complain for free tho!!

I will check on the size if anyone is interested. I'm like 6' 1" or so and maybe 175 in street clothes.

Just bring them to the events so if someone shows up and dont have pants they have something to wear. There is plenty of guys with old but still good leathers around this shouldn't be a problem..

I paid $470 total. Do some searching. Great stuff is out there dirt cheap.

I would think it should be considered a common sense rule in motorcycle racing more than anything. Realistically jeans are no better than shorts if you come off at 119 mph so it's just not worth the risk. Imagine if your in the championship hunt for your class and you cant race the last race due to some injury that could have been prevented cause you get hurt. Trust me it sucks, and I know. MPS has suits for like $349. Thats nothing compared to the B.S. you will go through if you have road rash on half your body.
