Not picking on any rider or class,some people get the equipment needed to particpate in the sport and yes its cost money,while others want to float by with excuses.This in only fair to everyone that races at the events.I have fell off before and leathers prevented more injurys.Remember if you don't have them on,you may be pulled from the race at any time,which means if you skate by 3-4 rounds and your in the finals and I see no leathers,you just lost that round.Your saftey is the concern.

First of all I would never race without leathers even at 110 mph but unfortunatley this kills a lot of people from running local test - tunes and race events. I've often wondered if there would be enough people interested that someone could rent leathers for a fair price to get more people to the track. just an idea.

I loaned leathers out last year,just check with racers,they have extra sets laying around.

Test and Tune is a different story. The test session rules are set by the track not 2wheelspeed. I have been down at almost 100mph without a helmet and trust me you are a fool if you race without leathers. Leathers are $500, Medical bill are $1000's.

i have a set f/s. all black for 6' 220-240ish. too big for me now. nem has one or two sets also i believe he may sell.

Rules are rules. They have 5 months to come up with a pair of leather it's really not that hard or pricely if they shop around.

I run in the 10.50 class and will be buying a pair of pants... But with that said i do see where outplayn is coming from because i think it will/might hurt the bike count in the class. A lot of newer/slower guy's arn't gonna wanna run out and spend $100+ on leathers when they can just stay in test and tune with what they have... Times are hard and some people just are not gonna wanna spend the money to run the class.

That is the POINT! Lets get them out of TEST and Tune...and with throwing more rules at the people. They are less likely to come over and race with us.

From what I was being told Ron and BJ are going to follow the Ihra rules alot closer this year. So I don't see many ppl getting away with the no leathers pant this year as they have in the past. I'm backing it 100% I've seen the aftermath of ppl not wearing the right gear..
As a 2ws employee you should as well the 1st time someone goes down without the right gear and picks up a phone to a lawyer everyones tone will change real fast over a 45.00 entry fee to the class. There are plenty of places to buy leather pants for 100.00 and 5 months to make everyone aware of it!!

Test & Tune is also required also over120 mph.Not trying to turn away entrys,but I will if its a saftey issue.Im watching over everyone a little closer this year,and its all for your saftey.We have very little crashes and if one happens,you will be protected.
