Dreamryder wins in Finals against Josh Bricker at 2WheelSpeeds Shootout event June 28th!

Sunday's temps were much more bearable than Sat... we were rushed on Sat to finish due to a storm coming through and by gosh did it come through quick LOL... but it was welcomed.. it cooled the temps off and helped bring the track around for Sunday.

Track still wasn't up to it's usual conditions but way better than Sat... you just had to get lucky on where you were and what line you took to the other end

My bike was runnin clean and only real issues was traction .. bike would spin and grab and get a bit aggressive causing me to work hard to keep her straight. Even had to throw a lil road racing experience in there to get her back under control from a wheelie threating to cut my run short. But I was bound and determined to make every pass a "ballzout" run and give it everything to get across the line at full throttle to make up for backin out on Sat.

I was # 2 qualifier on Sunday with Josh Bricker in the #1 spot... I was in the 7's with every pass and only tweaked my settings slightly here or there as the track didnt' seem to want to hold alot as everyone was still spinnin off the line or shortly there after.

I found myself in the finals with Josh Bricker after he had just made a 7.5 pass in the semi's ... I'd been runnin right lane most of the day .. same as him.. since he had lane choice I was forced to reconsider my tune for being in the left lane now.. with the help of Matt @ CycleTek and Eric @ Rev'd Up Motorsports we evaluated the situation and decided to run the same settings as the previous pass and hope the traction was there for it this time around.

Lined up .. waited for the lights.. launched and away I was.. didn't spin held good and I was shifting down track before I realized there was no Josh in my line of sight.. did I really have a chance to take this win?? I double check my throttle position to make sure I was wide open and leave nothing on the table... bike was true to form and got me across the line with a 7.75 for the WIN!

I think I was still in shock that it took me seeing the slip to believe it.

THANK YOU NEM for what you did for me on Sat to make it so I could still race all weekend.. wish you could have been there to share in the excitement on Sunday...

Thank you Matt and Eric for your continued support and advice through out the rounds on Sunday..
and again Thank you Buz and John for the help in the pits fillin in for Nem not being there Def couldn't have continued to run hard if Buz had not taken the time to change out my clutch springs for me

Thanks as well to my daughters for being my umbrella girls and camera crew...

Thanks everyone... I was pleased with myself (not to sound concided I hope) for sure... I've had so many let downs where I could have won if only had made a somewhat more clean pass (due to rider error or slow tree) and to finally make the best of an opportunity felt good.

I hope to continue my forward progress this coming weekend back out for some more 2WheelSpeed fun

I could hear some of the crowd on the video.. gotta teach Racheal to continue recording somewhat after the pass is over more so you get to hear some of that :bumping:

sorry for delay in getting videos up.. I spent many hrs fighting my laptop just to get the on board camera feed edited and uploaded.. hopefully tonight I have time to do the rest and post up.
