forget all that, ride it the way it is. you have a great starting point, and if you start making a bunch of changes to the bike, you wont know what works. you have a well thought out setup, and you just need to ride it.

    All this is unnecessary
Tune the bike, add more gear, add inches to wheel base & have fun

    Allready done:))
Zt2 datalogger (wideband lambda) and custom map for AFR near to 0.95 (best performance) in all RPM/THROTTLE ranges.SWB is +20cm.Gearing 15/45.
It.s only missing camshafts, high compresion pistons and head work.
Maybe in winter i will do rest of the modifications
.And i wait for the progres in ECU HACKING subjects (ignition timing for race fuel:):))

I got a set of web cams for you now. .395 intake & .358 exhaust. All I want is $525 to your door, they are 3 months old with maybe 20 passes

Also I like the bazzaz WAY better than the dynojet stuff. (I've had pc3,pc5, and z-fi with z-afm)

As far as ECU hacking, I gave up waiting on them. Just buy a MSD sb-6 & your set

Why a TRE? And I have heard about the pair mod but why do that and how do i accomplish it?

I also have a GPR stabilizer that I am very happy with in place of the stocker..... I forgot to mention too that my goal is to leave it swb as well. I can give a guy who rides a swb bike a lot more credit than some guy who can ride a long slammed bike if ya know what i mean.

TRE is from Timing Retard Eliminator...On gears 1-3,4-5,6 You have different maps for ignition curve and other rev limiter.Best map is for fifth gear.I put in the gear sensors the same resistor for all positions and i always ride with 5th gear map.Cost...about 1$(for resistors) and one hour of work.
Pair_Mod blocking pair valves for wideband lambda measurement they must be blocked because it puts fresh air to the exhaust and makes false readings.Riding good times with SWB..RESPECT.If you do 9.7 with stock R1....:):)

IKE i'm out of money right now...That's why i have asked for damaged cams.I have to save some money for next modifications, and in the first line it will be WISECO's and Cam package.

From my understanding is that the 07-08 gsxr1000 has only 2 (1-5,6) ignition maps as opposed to the 3 setup (1-2,3-4,5-6). So the TRE does nothing on our bikes by tricking the bike to stay in 5th as far as elimination of timing retard. 6th gear ignition maps would be desired. I think ridgeracer posted this on the ECU hack site
