i have an '05-'06 gsxr1000 and drake at suzuki city in mississippi has alot of experiance and dyno tuning using all those different setups,he installed an '03-'04 1000 intake cam on the exhaust side and my bike picked up 7hp up top and gained hp everywhere in the bottom and midrange from 157hp to164hp(he said i would gain between 5-7hp),he said an '05-'06 1000 intake cam on the exhaust side would have giving me 10hp up top but i would have lost alot on the bottom and midrange because of the duration of the cam.he told me i would benefit better from the '03-'04 1000 cam because of my weight(i'm 230 lbs.) he said if i was 130-140 lbs. the '05-'06 1000 intake cam would have worked well especially on nitrous!

yep bike ran well. i just couldnt 60 the bike. either my clutch hand wasnt working or the bike needs more gear. would either bog or stand staight up. only going thru in top of 5th. motor really likes rpm. bumped shift light up and the bike came on. i think im going to try a 47 rear instead of 45. try to use 6 gears. next time bike goes to track its going to have about 30- 40 hp more. we will see.
