06 1k turbo fuel issues

This is a discussion about 06 1k turbo fuel issues within the 1000's section, where you will 1 Liter Bike Talk for.... Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha; Need some help from you veteran turbo guys. Recently put on a FAST stage 1 kit on my 06 1000, finally got everything installed and running right, and when it was dyno'd, it started leaning

    Default 06 1k turbo fuel issues

    Need some help from you veteran turbo guys. Recently put on a FAST stage 1 kit on my 06 1000, finally got everything installed and running right, and when it was dyno'd, it started leaning out scary bad at 100% throttle at about 10 grand. Running a PCIII with a walbro pump and BEGI FMU. Running 6lbs of boost, and even at boost, still has good fuel pressure (around 80 lbs). From what im reading, the stock injectors should be good for way more fuel, as that was my first thought. Would controlling the secondary injectors make that big of a difference, or should i look at upgrading lines and the fuel rail?? Any help would be great, because i cant take my bike to full throttle over 10 grand right now

    Turn the pressure up on the FMU to it hits 90psi. Check your vacum lines

    everyone in know with a turbo uses both sets of injectors. i think RR has got the map where you can go 5050 on the injectors now. ill find out for you.

    Glad to see you got it all on. I would think that either the vacuum line to the FMU is wrong or something, or you need the second power commander. I had two on my bike and it was fine. There is a chance you might have bent the shim in the FMU as well, but usually it whines when that happens.
