to me i dont think bigger cams or head work will make much or any difference.spraying that much is hard on the head if you dont have it set just right i have a shop full of eat up heads not worth all the money for bigger cams or porting just my opionion.

standard bore, and if you could wedge a slightly longer rod in it and make it around 11:1 compression...id try a 2 stage 180 shot on it. but id also have the windage holes welded

why would you have the windage holes welded. I just told you I sprayed 150-180 all year with no issues? And no rod issues.

As for cams a good set-up on stock bore is the stock intake cam on the 05-06 and an intake cam from an 03-04 1000 on the exhaust side.

On the head a good clean up would work well and some port matching but one you spray so much the nitrous is just eating the head. But good fuel and tuning is the key here.

i didnt read all the post lol..

i would do just for peace of mine...and if i wanted to go bigger, itd be done... one of these built right could prolly hold 230 extra in now...if the tune is on, and you use nice smooth nitrous ramps...would be a quarter mile bike. youd be hard pressed to get that much in, in the 1/8

i would answer that but if i told you, you wouldnt believe me.. but there are stock motors out going as fast and faster as some built motors...
also you have to understand alot of it is the setup. very low 60s.....

along with your tune, your set up is key...

There are too many variables that would decide how a stock motor std bore on spray can go. I'll bet you some have been faster than 5.60's. Hell I've seen 5.68 on stock motor with my 135 lb. friend at 63in. with brock smeg and pc3 and airshift in cold december weather on mr11. Im setting my bike up this year on a grudge chassis to shave weight and got a penske. And I'll tell you I know I'll do a lot better than 5.60's. all stock everything in the motor
