Does anybody have any experience with a "ZOOK" flat oil pan? I'm interested in one for my 06 1k.

Any reason you went with 2 different brands of Oil pans?

got a deal on the zook used for like 225

got the koenig on a deal used with a sidewinder for 700

just price but I did my research first. Haven't really heard any negative things about any of the brands lately. I think what everyone has figured out in the past few years with technology and big horse power everyone is after is that you must check the oil pickups often for these motors to live. Most people don't do that until it's to late. MAke sure to put red loctite on the oil pick up bolts and the o-ring is in place properly. When you clean the pick up pull it off and pull the sceen out. MAke sure whatever brand you but has a serviceable oil pick up. And regardless of how much oil the bike calls for fill it to the top of the site glass.

Main causes I have seen for spun bearings with flat pan is clogged oil pick-ups, no red loctite on bolts and the pick up falls off, or not running the proper amount of oil.
